The choice of core depends on your facility's operational priorities:
1. EPS (Expanded Polystyrene): The most economical, lightweight core. Outstanding for temporary modular buildings, standard dry storage warehouses, and rooftop extensions where structural weight is constrained.
2. PU / PIR (Polyisocyanurate): The industry benchmark for thermal efficiency with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.019–0.022 W/m·K. It is essential for cold rooms, pharmaceutical storage, food processing plants, and climate-controlled distribution facilities where HVAC power consumption must be minimized.
3. Rock Wool (High-Density Mineral Wool): Classified as Class A non-combustible (up to 1,000°C resistance). It is mandatory for firewall partitions, cleanroom envelopes, power stations, and chemical factories requiring stringent fire resistance ratings (1 to 4 hours) along with acoustic attenuation.
